March 1st The season opened with a nice warm spring day. My boat partner was Larry Mc Allinden. We had 6 fish for the day. The best fish was 2lb. We caught the fish around Church Island. All fish were released. |

March 3rd Had a few hours out today with Larry Mc Allinden. The wind was a south west. Larry had a fine fish of 4lb and I had a fish of 2lb. The fish were returned to fight another day. |

March 6th My boat partner for the day was Ned . We had 6 fish in the boat and missed a few again the best was about 2lb. Wind was a south wind and we fished in the chambers bay area of the lake. |

March 9th Myself and Andrew Brown took to the water today. The wind was blowing from the south and we headed to Orangefield. Two fish were boated 2 3/4lb and 2lb. |

March 20th Once again myself and Andrew went out for the day. Conditions were wonderful and we to boated 3 fish, best of which was about 3lb at Plunketts point. All returned. |

Today Myself and
Andrew
headed off for a day’s fishing. The wind was blowing from the north
and we headed to the top of the lake. We boated 3 fish of 4lb, 2
3/4lb and 2 1/2lb and missed a few others. We saw the first hatch of
olives of the year, but no sign of fish feeding on them |
