Winston is a beautiful black male cat about two years old, he came to us a few months ago during a stormy night. We found him on the doorstep looking very wet, bedraggled and feeling sorry for himself. It seemed as if he had once been someones pet but had been living rough for a long period of time and felt it was time to try and trust us humans again. He has one ear that is a bit chewed around the edges and flops down most of the time and without a doubt the largest set of canine teeth we have seen on a domestic cat giving him the appearance of a vampire as his top two teeth are on show all the time even with his mouth shut. This could be a genetic or birth defect or perhaps the result of an accident affecting the jaw bone but he is to nervous of other people to even consider getting him to the vets yet for an examination of the problem. Winston was very underweight when he came to us but is starting to fill out now after three months of good food inside him, he seems to be a happy cat within himself while he is alone with us but is terrified of strangers or any loud noise and will run a mile if he gets frightened. We are constantly working on socialising him with other people but we feel its going to be a long task judging by his nervousness now
