World Wide Web Compliance (W3C)

Website and webpage compliance is governed by the W3C to ensure full compliance on all devices

Website Standardisation and Compliance

At Blade Web Design all of our websites are rigorously tested to ensure they conform to the latest standards of web compliance. This allows for cross browser compatability, all of our sites are tested and compliant on a full range of web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera Our sites all use Cascading Style Sheets that were introduced with HTML 4.

Cascading Style Sheets used in all of our designs allow for the styling of an entire page by attaching a style sheet. The use of style sheets replaced the need for the repeated use of font tags. This makes the changing of background colors, or font sizes throughout the entire site in one step a simple process A website built with HTML 3 or older or one without a style sheet would be a big mistake. Check into the type of HTML used by other design companies. If they do not use Cascading Style Sheets move on to another one

Web Design and Applications involve the standards for building and rendering Web pages, including HTML5, CSS, SVG, Ajax, and other technologies for Web Applications (WebApps). This also involves making pages accessible to people with disabilities (WCAG), internationalized, and work on mobile devices. At Blade Web Design we consider your end user and strive to make our websites user friendly

Blade Web Design ensures that our Web Architecture focuses on the foundation technologies and principles which sustain the Web, including URIs and HTTP

Our Customers websites conform to the latest XML Technologies, including XML, XQuery, XML Schema, XSLT, XSLFO, Efficient XML Interchange (EXI), and other related standards like the Web of Services that refer to message-based design frequently found on the Web and in enterprise software. The Web of Services is based on technologies such as HTTP, XML, SOAP, WSDL and SPARQL.

Web of Devices

Blade Web Design work closely with W3C standards and is focusing on technologies to enable Web access anywhere, anytime, using any device. This includes Web access from mobile phones and other mobile devices as well as use of Web technology in consumer electronics, printers, interactive television, and even automobiles
