 Hi
my name is Gizmo. Im deaf as a post as a result of a virus when I
was younger. Im very nervous as I can't hear when people approach me, I
tend to jump and run for cover when frightened. I wish I could hear
properly but its not going to improve ( how is a cat supposed to catch a sparrow when I cant hear it chirp). I also suffer from mild feline hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which is the most common heart disease in cats. Because my heart murmur is mild right now, I do not require treatment. But if it progresses, future medication will become necessary Update Gizmo is as mad as ever and a recent scan showed his heart murmer has not increased so he is doing well at the moment.
